Description:
We’re looking for a new addition to the Fairview Team who will help us keep our school in tip-top shape! The health and safety of our staff and students is paramount at Fairview, so we’re seeking a detail orientated, not afraid to get their hands dirty, team player to keep us fit and ready to learn!
Main Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your areas and for maintaining high and consistent standards.
- Take initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the Rota but require attention.
- Liaise with manager and other members of staff as required to ensure the school operates smoothly with regards to grounds safety and cleanliness
- Report supplies requirements and stock levels to the line manager; flag maintenance and/or repairs that require attention.
- General site maintenance ie: bleeding boilers, changing lights, door adjustments
- Building and moving furniture (such as desks and shelves) as needed
- Daily opening and/or closure of campus
- Clearing rubbish, weeds, brush and debris on a campus grounds
- Leaf blowing and lawn maintenance
- Taking care of tools and inventory
- Painting and minor wall repair as well as other decorating maintenance
- Fire, Health & Safety compliance checks
- Meter readings
