Stirling Community Enterprise has been awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Stirling Award at the city’s 2024 Business Awards.
The team was presented with the honour last night at the annual Stirling Business Awards run by Go Forth Stirling BID. The social enterprise was among a host of award winners revealed during a black-tie ceremony at the city’s Albert Halls. The awards were organised by the BID (Business Improvement District) to recognise and reward the city’s independent business owners, social enterprises and charities with the winners chosen following a public vote.
Danielle McRorie-Smith, Project Director of Go Forth Stirling BID, said: “I’d like to congratulate the team at Stirling Community Enterprise for winning the Outstanding Contribution to Stirling Award 2024. They do fantastic work supporting unemployed people across the Stirling area by securing training opportunities, work experience and skills with the goal of preparing them for sustainable employment. I’m delighted to see them recognised for their hard work and the outstanding initiatives they provide.”
